More than 2,600 tires were collected for disposal
Old rims were crunched with a "rim crusher"
The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection's REAP program and the Calhoun County Solid Waste Authority hosted a local tire collection event Saturday at Cabot Recycling Station to rid the county of old tires.
More than 2,600 tires were collected and lots of rims.
