| Thomas Wayne "Tommy" Dye, 50, of Maiden NC, formerly of Newton WV, died Thursday, May 16, 2013.
He was born July 31, 1962 at Newton, a son of the late Robey and Marion Smith Dye. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Clark; three brothers, Donald, Ronald and John Dye.
Tommy was a construction worker and a member of the Newton Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sisters, Patricia Clute of Hickory NC, Joyce Lloyd of Spencer WV and Wilma McGlothlin of Newton NC; two brothers, Danny Dye of Maiden NC and Randy Dye of Hickory NC.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday May 20, 2013 in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Robert A. "Bob" Keen officiating. Burial will be in the Eventide Cemetery, Spencer.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
