| Shirley Lee Doty 65, of Elizabeth WV, passed away Friday May 17, 2013 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Ritchie County the daughter of the late Walter T. and Maude A. (Duff) Easton.
She graduated from Glenville State College with a bachelor degree in accounting.
Retired from Fenton Art Glass of Williamstown WV after 20 years of service and worked part-time for Creston Well Service Inc. of Creston WV.
She was a secretary of the Wirt County Farm Bureau for several years, and enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her friends and family.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Paul R. Doty Jr.; two daughters, Teresa Goodnight of Davisville WV and Laura Doty of Elizabeth; two sons, Paul Doty III of Belgian and John (Gina) Doty of Humble TX; brother, Walter H. Easton of Elizabeth; seven grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Raymond Easton.
According to Shirley's wishes, no service will be held at this time.
