The U.S. Census Bureau is reporting that the Mountain State had the lowest voter turn-out in the USA during the last General Election, November 2012.
The bureau's analysis measured actual voters against citizens eligible to vote.
President Barrack Obama received less than 36 percent of the West Virginia vote. In the primary, voters selected a convicted felon who was in prison.
While the state is registered mostly Democrat, voters have selected a Republican president in the last several presidential races. |
