A Calhoum Grand Jury was convened Tuesday indicting twelve after hearing cases presented by Prosecutor Shannon S. Johnson.
- John Frederick Fisher, 34, was indicted on one count of Operating and Attempt to Operate Clandestine Drug Laboratories, a Felony; one count of Possession and Purchasing Precursors to Manufacture Methamphetamine, a Felony; and one count of Exposing Children to the Manufacture of Methamphetamine, a Felony. The allegations against Fisher were investigated by Cpl. J. E. Kincaid of the West Virginia State Police.
- Melvin Howell, 56, was indicted on one count of Possession with Intent to Deliver and Delivery of a Controlled Substance, a Felony. Howell's indictment alleges that he sold Hydrocodone on March 30, 2012. The charge was investigated by Cpl. J. E. Kincaid of the West Virginia State Police.
- Dustin Hillegas, 26, was indicted on five counts of Possession with Intent to Deliver and Delivery of a Controlled Substance, all Felonies. The indictment alleges that Hillegas sold Klonopin, Clonazepam, and Hydrocodone on several occasions from April 4, 2012 to April 10, 2012. These charges were investigated by Chief Andrew Walker of the Grantsville Police Department and Cpl. J. E. Kincaid of the West Virginia State Police.
- Dustin Hillegas was also named in a joint indictment with Nancy Roberts Hillegas, 29. The indictment charges both Hillegases with Burglary and Conspiracy, both felonies, and Petit Larceny, a misdemeanor. That case was investigated by Chief Andrew Walker of the Grantsville Police Department.
= Michael Williamson, 35, was indicted on two counts of Possession with Intent to Deliver and Delivery of a Controlled Substance, all Felonies. Williamson's indictment alleges that he sold Xanax and Valium on April 22, 2012 and May 10, 2012. This case was investigated by the late Trooper E. M. Workman of the West Virginia State Police and Officer C. Stevens of the West Virginia Department of Natural Resources.
- Richard Blake, 47, was indicted on one count of Operating and Attempt to Operate Clandestine Drug Laboratories, a Felony; one count of Possession and Purchasing Precursors to Manufacture Methamphetamine, a Felony; and one count of Exposing Children to the Manufacture of Methamphetamine, a Felony; and one count of Conspiracy, a Felony.
- Felicia Jarvis, 29, was indicted on one count of Operating and Attempt to Operate Clandestine Drug Laboratories, a Felony; one count of Exposing Children to the Manufacture of Methamphetamine, a Felony; and one count of Conspiracy, a Felony.
This case involving Blake and Jarvis was investigated by Sgt. O. S. Starsick of the West Virginia State Police.
- Zachary Thomas, 19, was indicted on one count of Breaking and Entering, a Felony; one count of Receiving and Transferring Stolen Goods, a Felony; one count of Grand Larceny, a Felony; one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance, a Misdemeanor; one count of No Insurance, a Misdemeanor; and one count of No Registration, a Misdemeanor.
The charges allege that Thomas broke into a hunting camp on Hattie's Run Road in August of 2012. These charges were investigated by Trooper D. C. Moore of the West Virginia State Police.
Patricia Connell, 50, was indicted on one count of Arson, 1st Degree, a Felony; Malicious Assault, a Felony; and Destruction of Property, a Felony. These charges stem from an incident on September 6, 2012 and were investigated by Trooper D. C. Moore of the West Virginia State Police.
- Eric Ray Jones, 21, was indicted on one count of Burglary, a Felony, and one count of Petit Larceny. The indictment alleges that he broke into a family member's home on January 18, 2013. These charges were investigated by Sr. Trooper J. A. Newman of the West Virginia State Police.
- Allen Ray Nelson, 28, was indicted on one count of Malicious Assault, a Felony. In another indictment, Nelson was indicted on one count of Arson, 1st Degree, and Destruction of Property, both Felonies. The Malicious Assault allegedly occurred on April 14, 2013 and was investigated by Sr. Trooper J. A. Newman.
The other incident allegedly occurred on November 7, 2012 and was investigated by Trooper D. C. Moore of the West Virginia State Police.
- Christopher Lamp, 21, was indicted on two counts of Sexual Assault in the Third Degree; two counts of Sexual Abuse by a Parent, Guardian, or Custodian; and two counts of Sexual Abuse in the Third Degree, all Felonies.
It is alleged that Lamp had sexual contact with a young person who was thirteen years of age. This case was investigated by Sr. Trooper J. A. Newman of the West Virginia State Police.
Indictments returned against individuals are merely charges at this time and are not indications of guilt. All the above Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. |
