| Barbara S. Anderson-DeWeese, 43, of Spencer WV, died Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Roane General Hospital.
She was born July 29, 1969, in Winchester, Va., a daughter of the late Rev. Willis E. and Stella J. Tanner Anderson.
She was a member of the Spencer Advent Christian Church, and a graduate of West Virginia University at Parkersburg, where she received her BSN degree. She was a registered nurse, and former employee of Roane General Hospital, and Charleston Area Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband, Phillip N. DeWeese; children, Brandon N. DeWeese, and Nichole M. DeWeese, all of Spencer; brothers, David H. Anderson of Walton, Jerry W. Anderson of Peniel; sisters, Marlena D. Dailey of Savannah Ga, and Lena M. Burgess of Spencer. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Sunday, May 5, at 2 p.m. at John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Rev. Garry Bowen officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
