A kitchen fire on Log Cabin Lane, just off Rt. 16, Mt. Zion Ridge, sent resident Amy Yoak, in her 30s, to Minnie Hamilton Health System, responders indicated she could be suffering from smoke inhalation and other medical conditions.
The woman was reportedly life-flighted to a medical center from MHHS.
The fire was quickly contained.
The fire was reported about 7 p.m. with the Arnoldsburg and Grantsville VFDs and MHHS ambulance responding quickly.
