| Virginia Dare Fields, 68, of Spencer, West Virginia died April 27, 2013 at the Charleston Area Medical Center's Memorial Division.
She was born September 30, 1943 in Harmony, West Virginia a daughter of the late Benjamin "Buddy" and Elva Hersman Fields. She was disabled most of her life and enjoyed making quilts and writing recipes and loved children.
She is survived by six brothers, Charles, Carl, Jim and Roger, all of Harmony, Roy of Kentuck, West Virginia, and Lowell of Niles, Michigan; eight sisters, Ruth Rhodes and Joyce Evans, both of Gandeeville, West Virginia, Hazel Pannkuk of Washington state, Barb Shaffer of Cicerone, West Virginia, Carolyn Myers of Walton, West Virginia, Ruby Anderson of Harmony, Bonnie Payne of Tennessee, and Daisy Martinez of Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Helen Fields.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at the Hunt Cemetery in Harmony with Jason Rhodes officiating. TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer, is in charge of arrangements. There will be no service or visitation at the funeral home.
