| Betty Carol Nichols, 81, of Otto, West Virginia died April 20, 2013 at the Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital in Parkersburg, West Virginia.
Betty was born June 29, 1931 in Roane County, West Virginia a daughter of the late Amos Coy and Macel Miller Haverty. She was a homemaker and a member of the Otto Area Senior Citizens and enjoyed attending events at the Otto Community Building.
She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Chambers and Susan Porter, both of Spencer; two sons, Michael Nichols of Arnoldsburg, West Virginia and Jody Nichols of Beckley, West Virginia; ten grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Nichols; a daughter, Lori; and a brother, Billy Jack Haverty.
Service will be held at noon on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at the TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer, with Rev. Danny Whited officiating. Burial will be in the Otto Cemetery. Visitation is two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
