| Rushie Ann Knaggs age 70 of Tanner, West Virginia, departed this life early Monday morning, April 15, 2013 at her residence following a sudden illness.
Born August 26, 1942 in Gilmer County, West Virginia, daughter of the late Lacy and Dora Rogers Clevenger.
Rushie was a homemaker and Christian by faith. She returned home to The Mountain State along with her husband in 1993, after living in north east Ohio for almost 30 years. Rushie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and she enjoyed taking care of her family and making sure everything that needed done, got done.
On May 3, 1969 she was united in marriage to James Knaggs, who survives at their Tanner home.
Surviving is 1 son, Jimmy Knaggs and wife Darvina of Lyndhurst Ohio; 2 granddaughters, Cassandra and Natalie Knaggs of Lyndhurst; 3 brothers, Wilbert, Raymond, and Robert Clevenger; and 1 sister, Ruie Bond. There are also numerous nieces and nephews surviving. .
Along with her parents, Rushie was preceded in death by 1 son, Hugh Knaggs; 4 brothers; and 4 sisters.
Funeral Services will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary Inc. 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville WV 26351 at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 20, 2013 with Rev. Ronzel Roberts and Rev. Alfred Hickman officiating. Burial will follow in the Meadow Lane Cemetery, Glenville WV. Friends may call Friday evening from 5-8 p.m. at the Mortuary.
