Responders and neighbors assist youth across Little Kanawha River
He was taken to Minnie Hamilton Health System for evaluation
A 16-year-old Cabot Station boy ventured across the chilly waters of the Little Kanawha River near his house Saturday evening, likely to discover the river was not all that inviting and suffering a chill-down from the water.
The youth, perhaps using better judgment, decided he could not make it back and the Grantsville VFD and Calhoun EMS went to the scene to assist him.
He was taken to Minnie Hamilton Health System for evaluation. |
