| Thelma L. Winter, 76 of Burning Springs WV passed away April 4, 2013 at Minnie Hamilton Health System of Grantsville WV.
She was the daughter of the late Charles and Eleanor (Deuley) Welch.
She retired from AB Chance of Parkersburg WV after years of service.
She enjoyed watching the birds and working in her flowers, and sharing her knowledge and wisdom with her friends and family.
She is survived by her 2 daughters, Tina Parker of Vienna WV and Brenda Chaffin of Greensburg NC; 5 grandchildren, Michelle Parker, Damon Winter, Abe Fought, Sarah Norman, and Lisa Campbell; 6 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Jean McCray of Parkersburg WV, Loretta Scott and Betty Wilson of Grantsville WV; 4 brothers, Howard and Jim Welch of Five Forks WV, Larry Welch of TN, and Bill Welch of Pomroy Ohio; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by both her parents; her husband of 57 years, Owen Okey "Bud" Winter Jr.; 1 son, Michael Dale Winter;
1 great grandchild; and 1 sister, Patrica Metz.
Keeping with her wishes the family will have a memorial service at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the
Parkersburg Humane Society Parkersburg WV 26104.
