| Gale Elizabeth Holmes, 55, of Looneyville, West Virginia, died March 12, 2013, at her home.
She was born July 19, 1957, at York, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Carl D. and Martha Taylor Tracy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Timmy Tracy.
Gale loved animals and cooking. She had a great singing voice.
Survivors include her husband, Willard Robert Holmes; a daughter and son-in-law, Sherri and Jason Lytle of York, PA; two granddaughters, Anissa and Eva Lytle; a sister and brother-in-law, Deanna and Melvin Aikins of York County, PA; a brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Dee Tracy of York County, PA; a brother-in-law, Carville Holmes of Looneyville.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 18 in the J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Stewartstown, PA with the Rev. Dr. Douglas C. Winward, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the Old Hopewell Cemetery, Stewartstown.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary. John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer is in charge of local arrangements.
