LOGAN STANDOFF - A Logan County standoff during an alleged home invasion ended with the arrest of Gregory Alderage.
State Police say Alderage tried to force his way into his next door neighbor's home around Monday.
The neighbor called the Logan City Police. When they responded, they say Alderage ran back to his house and barricaded himself inside, allegedly threatening to kill officers.
Logan Police called troopers for backup and went into Alderage's home, after which he tried to stab a trooper with a knife.
Alderage was arrested and is charged with brandishing a deadly weapon.
Other charges for the home invasion are pending.
