| Samuel French Junior Wright, 59, of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at CAMC Memorial in Charleston, West Virginia after a short illness.
He was born January 27, 1954 in Calhoun County, a son of the late Samuel French and Opal Arlete Norman Wright Greathouse. He was a general laborer doing odd jobs and carpentry and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his daughter, Heather Lockhart of Spencer; his companion, Betty Stanley of Spencer; two step-daughters, Heaven Cook of Nitro, West Virginia and Patty Pierce of Virginia; three step-sons, Frank Stanley of Spencer, Phillip Stanley of Ironton, Ohio, and Jerry Stanley of Anchorage, Alaska; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one step-great-grandchild.
There will be no service or visitation at this time as Sam's wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer is in charge of the arrangements.
