Etta Mae Tanner, 61 of Akron, Ohio, formerly of Calhoun County, WV, died Monday, August 5
at Summa Health Care System, Akron.
She was a daughter of the late William Roy and Cora Cottrell Tanner.
She is survived by son, Frederick Jr. Tanner of Grantsville, WV; three brothers, Willard Tanner
of Parkersburg, WV, Virgil Tanner of Reedy, WV and Roy Tanner of Charlotte, MI; two sisters,
Geraldine King of Grantsville and Lula Gay Tanner of Orma, WV and granddaughter, Riva
Tanner.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Everett Tanner and two sisters, Betty Goad and
Leah Suttels.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 9, 2002 at 1 p.m. at Stump Funeral Home,
Grantsville. Reverend James McIntyre will officiate. Interment will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. Friday.
