MAN SHOOTS HORSES - A Kanawha County man is being charged with shooting two horses on a farm near Tornado, one of which died.
Kanawha deputies charged 39-year old Delmar Dean Lacy, II, with firing a gun within 500 feet of a dwelling, but other charges could be filed.
Officers found 31 casings from what appears to be an AR-15 type rifle.
The investigation is continuing whether or not that the shootings were purposeful.
WOMAN SLASHES MAN -
A Morgantown woman has been arrested after she slashed a man's arm with a knife.
Police arrested 41-year-old Cherie Bowlby.
According to police records, she was involved in a fight with a man, his girlfriend, and his daughter.
Apparently the man tried to leave and that's when Bowlby supposedly got mad and threatened to kill him and his daughter.
She picked up a knife and slashed his arm.
HARD NIGHT AT CHARLESTON BAR - Charleston police say a woman allegedly stabbed another woman in the face with a bottle outside a West Side bar.
Police went to the Birdcage Lounge around 2:30 a.m. Monday in her late 20s, broke a bottle and used it to cut a woman above the lip.
The victim, in her early 20s, was taken to the hospital, where she received stitches.
In another incident at the small bar, three men pulled a gun on a group outside the bar.
The gun wasn't brandished on the woman who was stabbed, but police said the incidents might be related.
