| John R. Lattea age 80 of Glenville, West Virginia, departed this life at 4:03 p.m., Wednesday, February 21, 2013 after a sudden illness.
Born March 26, 1932 in Gilmer Co. West Virginia, son of the late Curt and Ide Clevenger Lattea.
John worked for the Cedar Creek State Park where he retired in the mid 1990's. He enjoyed movies, fishing, hunting and spending quiet time at home.
Surviving are two sibling, Lewis Lattea of Glenville and Mary Jo Carr of North Carolina; three cousins, Kathleen and Iretta Clevenger of Glenville and Juanita Miller and husband Bill of Normantown West Virginia.
John is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents John was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Delena Miller, Virgie Luzader, Marthie Lattea Ables; and 3 brothers, Harold Miller, Clifford Lattea and Jack Miller.
At John's request his remains will be cremated and private family services will be set at a later date.
