A Spencer native has been appointed as the chief spokesperson for the West Virginia
State Department of Environmental Protection.
Jessica Welsh Greathouse, 29, will take the $60,000 job, according to DEP Secretary
Michael Callaghan.
Greathouse, a graduate of Bethany College with a degree in communications, has
been with the DEP for six years, four years in the public information office.
"Jessica has shown that she has the leadership skills and experience to run DEP's
public information office," said Callaghan.
