| Karen Ann Nichols, 54, of Elkview, West Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Charleston Area Medical Center's General Division in Charleston, West Virginia.
She was born November 30, 1958 in Roane County, a daughter of the late Robert and Joan Crites Norman. She was formerly employed at the Grandview Restaurant in Spencer.
She is survived by a daughter, Christina Nichols of Charleston; her companion, Rick Hall of Elkview; her step-father, Larry Norman of Parkersburg, West Virginia; three sisters, Kay Crites and Diana Ash, both of Spencer, and Debbie Crites of Ripley, West Virginia; two brothers, Glen and Donald Crites, both of Spencer; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Belinda Fisher; and two brothers, Roger and Robert Crites.
Services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer with Rev. Jackie Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Clover Cemetery near Spencer. Visiting is one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
