| Carolyn Sue Lloyd, 49, of Elizabeth WV passed away Jan. 1, 2013 at home with her husband Michael T. Lloyd at her side, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Carolyn was a registered nurse with 30 years of service, most recently employed at CAMC Memorial Division in Charleston WV. Everyone who met Carolyn loved her, she was a gifted artist, and wonderful cook and gardener. She loved her home in the country with her chickens, birds, and especially sharing it with her husband, the love of her life.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Michael T. Lloyd; mother and father-in-law Loriane and Frank Bates; 2 sons Tyler and Austin; special companion her dog Shelby; brother Kevin Marcum; nephew Wyatt; Aunt Sis Markum and cousin Terry Markum (with a "K")
Funeral Mass will be 1 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church of Elizabeth.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth WV from 11 a.m. until noon. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery of Elizabeth.
