BANK HEIST OF THE WEEK - The Westover Police Department confirms a suspect walked into Westbanco with a gun and demanded cash. He got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
Officials said there were no patrons were inside the bank at the time.
The robbery happened about 12:30 p.m. Thursday.
No other details available.
MAN THREATENS TO KILL WORKERS - State Police in Lewis County have arrested a man after he threatened to shoot people at his job.
Police have released few details about the incident.
Ronald Morris has been charged with threats of terroristic acts.
Police said he became upset at work and threatened to get a gun and shoot people.
The work site has not been identified.
Morris has been released on $60,000 bond.
CABELL COUNTY SHOOTING - A Cabell County man has died after being shot at an apartment complex Wednesday night.
State Police say 25-year-old Christopher Carter was shot three times, and died in a Huntington Hospital.
Police believe shooting was drug related.
They are looking for three persons of interest in connection with the shooting.
POINT PLEASANT SHOOTINGS - Point Pleasant Police say that Franklin Eaves, 22, got into a fight and then shot Earl Bonecutter and Michael Stewart Tuesday evening.
Eaves was arrested and taken to Pleasant Valley Hospital, police saying saying he was extremely intoxicated and may have had some hypothermia.>{?
Eaves will be charged with two counts of malicious wounding.
Bonecutter and Stewart were both shot in the stomach, both victims expected to survive.
GO-MART HOLD-UP - Police are looking for a man who held up a gas station in Kanawha County.
It happened about 8 p.m. Monday at the Go-Mart on MacCorkle Avenue in Marmet.
They say a man had a bandana over his face, robbed the store and fled the area.
SECURITY GUARD HELD-UP - A security guard was robbed at gunpoint early Monday morning in Charleston.
Charleston Police say the security guard works for the DHHR and was making his rounds about 3:15 a.m. at the Capitol Street parking garage when it happened.
Police are searching for two men in connection with the robbery.
They got away with about $200.
MAN SHOOTS GUN IN AIR -
Morgantown Police responded to an incident in Morgantown early Tuesday morning near Karma Nightclub.
Police said a group of people were involved in a fight when a man shot his gun into the air.
Police say the victim of the beating did not want to press charges and there are no pending arrests. |
