| Charles E. Colegrove, 82, of Ivydale WV died Sunday December 23, 2012, in the Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Ivydale.
He was born July 2, 1930, in McDowell County, a son of the late Frank and Kathaleen Colegrove. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, son and sister.
Mr. Colegrove was a retired miner.
Survivors include a daughter, Lucie Truman of Maysel; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Thursday, December 27 in the Little Laurel Missionary Baptist Church, Ivydale, with Pastor Roy Huffman officiating. Burial was in in the Little Laurel Cemetery.
John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, was in charge of arrangements.
