| Garry Wayne Vannoy, 65, of Grantsville WV, passed away December 26, 2012 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport WV.
He was born January 24, 1947 in Gilmer County, a son of the late Holly and Effie McWilliams Vannoy. He was a member of Enon Baptist Church and was retired from the WV Department of Highways. Garry was a United States Army veteran, serving in the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Anita Hartshorn Vannoy. Sisters, Bertha Roberts of East Lake OH and Edna Chapman of Marietta OH. Brothers, Clarence (Alma) Vannoy of Belpre, OH, Bernard Vannoy of PA and Harry (Mary) Vannoy of Mentor OH as well as several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death, in addition to his parents by sisters, Leona Wright, Olena Ball,
Betty Koon and one infant sister. One brother, Harold Vannoy.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 29, 2012, 12:30pm at the Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville with Rev. John Vannoy officiating.
Burial will follow in the Collins Community Cemetery at Stumptown. Friends may call from 10:30 am until the time of the services on Saturday. |
