| William R. "Bill" Isaac, Sr., 76, of Spencer, WV, died at 9:04 a.m. Saturday December 15, 2012 in the Eldercare of West Virginia, Ripley.
He was born March 31, 1936 at Speed, a son of the late Ralph and Geraldine Wine Isaac. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Isaac; and a granddaughter, Morgan Ashley Dunaway.
Bill was a retired rural letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He was also a musician, who enjoyed country and gospel music. Bill played in several local bands, including the West Virginia Outlaws.
Survivors include his wife, Janis Isaac of Spencer; two sons, Rick Isaac of Triangle, VA and Randy Isaac of Goldtown; a daughter, Lynda Parfitt of Dayton, OH; stepsons, Ronnie Hart and Randy Hart both of Spencer; a stepdaughter, Wanda Cudd of Lincolnton, NC; three brothers, Robert Isaac of Ravenswood, Lawrence Isaac of Hurricane and Steve Isaac of St. Albans; 13 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 18 at 1:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Pastor Darin Cale officiating. Burial will be in the Swank Cemetery, Speed. Friends may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
