| Ruth Whipkey, 75, of Mt Zion, WV passed away December, 3, 2012 at the Charleston Area Medical Center after a long illness.
She was born in Stewart County, Georgia on July 5, 1937.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lorene Huddleston, her husband, Cecil Whipkey, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
She was employed by Rubber Crafters for several years. She enjoyed cooking for her family, quilting, being outside and gardening.
Surviving and left to cherish her memory are her children, Jean (Cecil) Parsons, Becky Cooper, both of Grantsville, Shirley Greathouse of Millstone, Mary Whipkey of Mt. Zion and Cecil Whipkey Jr. of Spencer WV; one sister; 10 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
Following cremation, funeral services will be held Friday December 14, 2012, 5:00 pm, at the Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville with Rev. Kevin Church officiating. Friends may call from 4:00-5:00 pm prior to the services.
