Beulah Evelyn Wayne, 97, of Spencer, West Virginia died November 6, 2012 at
Miletree Center, Spencer, West Virginia.
Beulah was born April 26, 1915 in Marietta, Ohio a daughter of the late Burr Cleveland
Mercer and Rachel Elizabeth Dailey Mercer. She was a homemaker and a member of the
Apostolic Faith Chapel.
She is survived by five sons, John Zehm of Beaufort, South Carolina, Robert Zehm of
Rogers, Arkansas, Larry Zehm of Beverly Hills, Florida, Walter Cottrell of Parkersburg, West
Virginia, and Roger Cottrell of Spencer; two daughters, Carolyn Persinger of Oakland, Maryland,
and Patsy Carter of Creston, West Virginia; one brother, Virgil Mercer of Richmond, Virginia;
twenty-three grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Howard Zehm,
Clyde Cottrell, and Ercel Wayne; a son, Theodore Zehm; and one sister Grace Williams.
The service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 9, 2012 at TAYLOR-VANDALE
FUNERAL HOME, Spencer, West Virginia. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Rev. Jeff Jett is officiating. Burial will follow at the Good Hope Cemetery, Reedy, West
Virginia. |
