The Grantsville Guppies 4-H Club held a meeting to reorganize their club on October 2 at the Calhoun County Library. There were 7 members and 2 adults present.
The meeting was called to order by President, Eric Watkins. Pledge of Allegiance was led by Dalton Nicholson and the 4-H Pledge was led by Jasmine Nicholson.
The main part of the meeting was to elect officers and choose committees. New officers will take over starting November. For President, Eric Watkins, Vice -President, Dalton Nicholson, Secretary, Jasmine Nicholson, Treasurer, Steven Campbell, Reporter, Emily Sears, Song Leader, Jasmine Nicholson, Recreation Leaders, Danny and Jesse Kargol.
Each member chose a committee and these committees will meet throughout the club year and plan an activity or program for the club. Each member filled out an enrollment card and will be working on project books for exhibit next year.
The club discussed upcoming events: including Officer Training and the 4-H Achievement Dinner. Both will be held on Monday, November 12, starting at 5 p.m. for the Officer Training and 6 p.m. for the 4-H Achievement Dinner, at the Calhoun Middle/High School.
Regular club meetings are set for the first Tuesday of each month, at the Calhoun County Library. However, the next meeting is set for Tuesday, November 13, at the Calhoun County Library, starting at 4 p.m.
