| A former Rosedale postmaster and veteran of World War II, Herman Marks, 90, has died in Parkersburg.
Marks, born in Gilmer County, and had served in Africa and Italy under General Mark Clark.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna, with the Rev. Todd Hill officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday, and one hour prior to services on Tuesday at the funeral home.
