| Ronald Heater age 73 of Rocky Fork Road, Gilmer County, WV, departed this life at 11:20 p.m., Wednesday October 24, 2012 at the Glenville Care and Rehabilitation Center, Glenville, WV following an extended illness.
Born November 3, 1938 in Baltimore, Maryland, son of the late Joseph E. and Anne Cosner Heater.
Ronald worked in the construction, coalmine, sawmill industries and
Asplundh Tree Experts as a tree trimmer. He was an Army Veteran Paratrooper and enjoyed hunting, fishing, & gardening.
On October 24, 1958 he was united in marriage to Agnes Collins Heater, who survives at their Rocky Fork home.
Surviving are 7 children, Rhonda J. Singleton and husband Verl of Heaters WV, William Michael Heater of Newville, West Virginia, Gerald Keith Heater and wife Pamela of Doddridge County, WV, Jeffery Scott Heater of Copen, WV, Nicky Joe Heater and wife Rebecca of Orlando, WV, Ricky Gene Heater and wife Kathy of Orlando, WV, Lois Eileen Blake and companion Stephen of Burnsville, WV; brother, Joseph Michael Heater and wife Shirley of Orlando, WV; sister, Patricia Tedrick and husband Doug of Morgantown, WV; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by son, John Heater in 1964.
Funeral Services will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary Inc. Glenville, WV, at 11:00 a.m. Monday October 29, 2012 with Rev. Roy Wiant officiating. Burial will follow in the Mick Cemetery on Rocky Fork Road Orlando, WV. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Sunday evening at the Mortuary.
