FAIRMONT DRIVE-BY SHOOTING - A drive-by shooting in Fairmont early Tuesday morning sent one man to the hospital.
It happened around 2:20 a.m., apparently two people were walking home from a bar, when a vehicle drove by and opened fire.
Neighbors told us they heard three gun shots.
Police said 35-year-old Samuel Hine was shot once in his left thigh and was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Police said they don't have any suspects.
CHARLESTON MAN STABBED - A Charleston man was stabbed several times in the back and neck with a pair of scissors, according to Kanawha County Sheriff's deputies.
Kanawha County Sheriff's Department responded to a disturbance call in Cedar Grove and found Anthony Williams, 33, of Cedar Grove, being treated for multiple slash and stab wounds by paramedics on his neck and back.
Police found a pair of scissors at the scene that he believes was the "instrument used to cut" Williams.
Glasgow Police took Bryan A. Taylor, 24, of Charleston, into custody for his alleged involvement.
Williams and Taylor are acquaintances and the men had allegedly been in an argument earlier in the day that had culminated in the physical fight, police said.
Williams was transported to CAMC General for treatment.
Taylor faces malicious wounding charges and is in the South Central Regional Jail in lieu of a $50,000.
