| Jack Ice, 81, of Spencer, West Virginia died October 22, 2012 at Charleston Area medical Center's Memorial Division in Charleston, West Virginia.
Jack was born August 3, 1931 in Jackson County, West Virginia a son of the late Floyd Uriah and Mary Alice Payne Ice. He formerly did farm work and odd jobs for people around the community.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jackalea Norman Ice; a son and daughter-in-law, Randall and Louise Ice of Spencer; a grandson, Jason Ice of Martinsburg, West Virginia; two step-grandsons, Russell McCumbers of Nicut, West Virginia and Josh McCumbers of Spencer; three step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Mamie Carpenter of Parkersburg, West Virginia; and a brother, Floyd Junior Ice of Spencer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters, Pearl Jeffries, Radie Tolley, Glady Anderson, Emma Brown and Josephine Hardesty; and two brothers, James and Harry Ice.
Service 1:00 pm Thursday, October 25, 2012 at the TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer, with Rev. Danny Whited officiating. Burial will be in the Eventide Cemetery, Spencer. Visiting hours are from 6:00 to 8:00pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
