West Virginia Writers, Inc., the premier writing organization in West Virginia, will hold their first annual Fall Writers Conference at the Graceland Inn & Conference Center located in Elkins, WV, on Saturday, November 3, with registration beginning at 8:00 a.m. and courses running throughout the day until 4:30.
The conference is limited to 75 attendees, so pre-registration is highly recommended. The cost which includes lunch, is $85 for non-members, $75 for members and seniors 62+, $45 for high school students and full-time college students. Students 13 or younger who enjoy writing can attend free if accompanied by a paying adult. Their registration should be attached to the accompanying adult's registration.
Courses will include both the craft and the business of writing. "Pass The Tissues" covers emotions in your writing. "Discipline Versus Muse" explores inspiration and structure in poetry. Do you have works almost ready or done? "Getting Your Novel Into Shape," "Avenues of Publishing," and "Writing and Submitting Fiction for Anthologies and Magazines."
