A Clay County man is accused of downloading child porn at Clay's public library.
John Rider, 31, of Lizemores has been charged with five counts of possession of child porn.
State Police received a tip that Rider was downloading the images on a computer at the Clay County Public Library, according to the criminal complaint.
Rider told police he was "just curious" and wanted to see how easy it was to see child porn, says the complaint.
Troopers have made similar arrests of people downloading child porn at libraries in Webster, Randolph and Mason Counties.
The Office of Information Security and Controls that monitors the libary's web activity, reported the incidents to authorities.
Cameras in the library helped troopers identify Rider.
He is being held on a $125,000 bond at Central Regional Jail.
