The regional Headstart program based in Parkersburg has received a $1.4 million
grant to continue providing services to children, ages 3-5.
The regional program covers ten West Virginia counties and provides services for 579
children, according to Director Glen Jones.
Besides Calhoun, the agency delivers services to Wirt, Roane, Gilmer, Tyler, Wood,
Ritchie, Pleasants, Jackson and Doddridge.
The grant is made available through the U. S. Department of Health and Human
Services. |
