| Parent, guardian and community information regarding school closings and delays are available from the WV Dept. of Education web site and dozens of state news papers and TV stations web sites.
Calhoun Schools also have an auto-dial phone system that notifies parents or guardians of closings and delays.
A system has also been in place to give email alerts.
While the Hur Herald has dutifully posted the delays and closings at early morning hours for several years, the effort is no longer needed. |
