Funeral services for Mrs. Reita K. Hamlet, 60, of Gainesboro,
Tennessee, will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 13,
2012, at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in
Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the
McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 to 9
p.m., and on Thursday from 9 a.m. until time of services.
She passed away on Monday, September 10, 2012 at her
residence.
She was born October 27, 1951 in Gilmer County, West
Virginia to the late Clay Yeager and Eula Bush Yeager. On
February 17, 1970, she was married to Johnny Wayne
Hamlet, who survives. She was a factory worker in the
garment industry and a member of the Dudney's Hill Church
of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1
sister, Pauline Deuley; 1 brother, Kenny Yeager; 1 sister-in-
law, Sue Burroughs; and 4 nephews, Jeffrey Burroughs,
Dwayne Burroughs, Terry Paul Mabry, and Lewis Allen.
Survivors include her husband, Johnny Wayne Hamlet of
Gainesboro, TN; 5 brothers, Clay (Leona) Yeager, Jr., Jim
(Sharon) Yeager, and Carson Yeager, all of West Virginia,
Doug (Pam) Yeager of Illinois, and Larry (Nancy) Yeager of
Ohio; 2 sisters, Addie (Charles) Trisdale of Gainesboro, TN,
Phyllis (Chuck) Kerby of West Virginia; 2 sisters-in-law, Anna
Allen and Joyce Carroll, both of Gainesboro, TN. Several
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
