| The Calhoun County Democratic Committee has elected Burl Postalwait as the county chairperson.
Shirley Ball is co-chairman and Melissa Hixon is temporarily filling as secretary/treasurer.
Robert Groves was appointed to fill the open position in Sherman District.
The committee discussed the open positions in Washington District and one position open in Lee District.
Poll workers were approved for the Nov. 6 election.
"We hope everyone gets out to vote, with early voting starting on Oct. 24," said Postalwait. |
