| Roy Lee Godfrey, 71, of Mt. Zion WV, passed away September, 7, 2012 at Charleston Area Medical Center, Memorial Division.
Born in Jackson County, he was a son of the late Ernest and Nellie Kerby Godfrey. He was a retired auto mechanic.
Surviving is his companion of 35 years, Alice Falls; one brother Pete Godfrey; and one sister Wilma Jean Godfrey, both of Grantsville.
He was preceded in death in addition to his parents, by three brothers, Donald, Junior and Bobby Godfrey.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, 1:00 p.m. at the Mt. Zion Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Johnny Miller officiating. There will be no visitation. Stump Funeral Home of Grantsville is in charge of the arrangements.
