Lots of unidentified flying objects streaked across the Calhoun sky in the 1950s, one of which my family observed in front of our house.
We were stone-cold sober.
The mystery of UFO's are the subject of several reality TV shows, and have become popular topics for movies, TV shows and novels.
Perhaps the most compelling UFO story is from Braxton County in 1952, where locals reported seeing creatures from what was called a UFO crash, resulting in the legend of the Braxton county monsters.
In my lifetime, there have been a few other fascinating sightings of unexplained events, all of which could be rolled into some good storytelling.
