DUNCAN'S PROBATION REVOKED AFTER POSITIVE DRUG TEST - Meth Lab Case Continued

(08/14/2012)
Judge David W. Nibert revoked probation for Michael Duncan in Calhoun Circuit Court Monday, after a drug test was found positive.

Nibert ordered Duncan to serve 90 days in Central Regional Jail.

Duncan had been found guilty on drug related charges, and had earlier problems with his probation, said Nibert.

Duncan's probation had been re-instated in August, 2011.

A case related to the operation of a meth lab against Jerry Glen McKown, Jr. was continued to the next term of court.

McKown's defense attorney Betty Gregory requested the continuance based on the court not receiving confirmation of meth from the State Police Lab.

McKown will return to court on September 17.
