Roane County High School has a new assistant principal, according to Spencer Newspapers.
Calhoun Middle-High School Principal Mike Worf has been hired for the position, a school which had five assistant principals last year, according to the newspaper.
Worf submitted his resignation to the Calhoun Board of Education. He held the position for three years.
Worf, a graduate of Glenville State College and Salem International University, has spent 34 years in the ministry, 20 years as pastor of the Victory Baptist Church near Grantsville.
He taught social studies at Gilmer County High School for three years.
