FAYETTE MAN SHOT IN LEG - A Fayette County man has been hospitalized after someone shot him in the leg.
Fayette County deputies were notified that a man checked into Plateau Medical Center at about 1:30 a.m. with a gunshot wound to his lower leg.
Josh Treadway, 27, of Oak Hill, told police the shooting occurred at a residence in Ansted.
Treadway identified a suspect and deputies interviewed multiple witnesses. Charges have not been filed.
MORGANTOWN MAN ROBS EATERY -
The West Virginia State Police arrested a Morgantown man,
Nathaniel Jones, 28, and charged him with armed robbery.
State Police responded to the armed robbery at the Golden Corral restaurant in Star City.
They say Jones approached an employee of Golden Corral in the parking lot and demanded money while wielding a firearm.
Jones then fled on foot, but was later apprehended.
The weapon and money were recovered, according to State Police.
ELKINS ROBBERY - State Police are investigating an early morning armed robbery in Elkins.
Police responded to the Econo Lodge Motel near U.S. Route 33 in Elkins.
A clerk at the motel told them that a man displayed a weapon, demanded money and then fled on foot.
