| Stanley Lee Knight, 67, of Big Springs, West Virginia, passed away July 31, 2012 at Minnie Hamilton Health Care Systems in Grantsville.
Stanley was an avid hunter who enjoyed hunting deer, squirrel, coon and rabbits.
Surviving are his long-time companion Melodie Bass and her grandson Ralph Bird; a brother, Jackie Ray Knight; a sister, Janice Taylor; his children are Bo Richards (Loretta), Neena Sampson (Richard), Jerry Knight (Cindy) and Teresa Knight (Tracy0; grandchildren Anthony Richards, Jonathan Sampson, Chris Sampson, Ashley Cunningham (Jared), Mathew Queen, Justin Knight, Killian Kimble, Dagaen Winter and Alex Winter; six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jody Richards; an infant brother, Steve Knight; two sisters, Wilma Robinson and Sharon Robinson; his parents and his former wife Patty Richards.
Graveside services will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the Nobe Cemetery at Nobe. Rev. Carroll McCauley will officiate. Stump Funeral Home of Grantsville is in charge of the arrangements.
