A fire underneath a mobile home on Siers Run, a short distance from State Rt. 16 at Minnora, threatened the dwelling, but firemen extinguished the blaze before it spread.
The occupant was identified as Allen Cottrell.
The Upper West Fork and Arnoldsburg VFDs responded to the structure fire about 7:45 a.m. Friday.
Responders said smoke was coming from under the mobile home when they arrived.
