Band practice during the 2011-12 season
The Calhoun Middle-High School Marching Band will begin practice on Monday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Any student grades 7-12 interested in participating are welcome.
Parents are invited to attend the first hour of rehearsal on Monday to go over the handbook and have questions answered then. If you can not attend, feel free to call Mrs. Sumner at (304)266-4133 with questions or concerns you may have.
Students are reminded to wear appropriate clothing to rehearsal as it will be outside in the heat. This also includes bringing water bottles, sunscreen, hats and etc.
The theme this year is "Wicked" based on the popular Broadway musical with a custom arrangement of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" written just for the Calhoun Marching Band by Mr. Charles Powell of St. Marys, WV.
