| L. Bruce Young, 82, of Elizabeth, WV passed away peacefully at his home on July 20, 2012.
He was born September 21, 1929 the son of the late James and Belva (Mundale) Young.
Bruce was a 1948 graduate of Parkersburg High School, he served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, and retired from the Milwaukee Cylinder Power Gear Plant, of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. He was a member of the Wirt County VFW and the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Luciele "Pie" Dawson Young;
three sons, Ernie Young of Elizabeth, Allan (Wanda) Young of Waterloo WI
And James (Kim) Young of Pennsylvania; daughter Kathy Young of Beaver Dam WI; 3 grandsons, Rodney, Jeremy and Kyle and 2 granddaughters Wendy and Kayla (Dan); several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jon Young; 3 brothers, Lee, Hal and Von Young and sister, Adalaine Wells.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Monday July 23 , 2012 from 4 to 7 p.m. Services will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth WV.
