| Freda Jane Arnold, 88, of Grantsville, died July 18, 2012, at Minnie Hamilton Health Care Facility.
She was born Nov. 6, 1923 at Auburn, W.Va., the daughter of the late Eldores and Lonna Mae Leggett Sheets. Freda was a graduate of Pullman High School and a member of Auburn Baptist Church.
She worked as a custodian at the Arnoldsburg School and was well known for her hand sewing and quilting. She is survived by one sister, Rosalee King of Elyria, Ohio; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews including special great niece, Kimberly Hall.
The family would like to thank Rick and Arlene Sampson and staff of Aging With Grace for taking such wonderful care of Freda for the final years of her life.
She was preceded in death by first husband, Edgar Lynch; second husband, Fenton Arnold; brothers, Brian Sheets and Lynn Sheets; sister, Louanna Hall; and nephews, James Sheets and Floyd Hall.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at Raiguel Funeral Home, Harrisville. Burial will follow in the Harrisville IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from noon-2 p.m.
