| Bernard Gideon Weaver, 90 of Big Springs, WV passed away June 30, 2012 at the Glenville Care and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born in Gilmer County, the son of the late John Gideon and Delphia Lockard Weaver on September 8, 1921.
Bernard was retired from the WV State Road Dept. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias at Tanner and the Chapel Baptist Church at Nobe.
He is survived by his sisters, Mae Jennings of Grantsville and Ova L. Bragg of Big Springs as well as many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death, in addition to his parents by one brother, Johnny Weaver and two sisters, Mary Yoak and Ava Naylor. ?
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday July 6, 2012 at the Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville.
Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Mount Liberty Cemetery in Tanner. Rev. Ronzel Roberts will be officiating.
