Kathy "Rene" (Twyman) Montgomery, 52, of Walker, W.Va., died on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.
She was born in Parkersburg, on Feb. 24, 1960, to Lindy Twyman and Mary Hendrickson. Rene enjoyed the outdoors and being active. She loved boating on the river with her friends and family and cooking spicy Cajun foods.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Hendrickson of Parkersburg; two daughters, Jessica Ross (Chris) of Elizabeth, W.Va. and Laura "Sis" Cunningham (Joe) of Parkersburg; three grandchildren, Chasity Smith, Emily Cunningham and Kaitlyn Ross; one sister, Kim Moore and special brother, Skip Moore, both of Walker; one step-son, Josh Cooper of Louisiana; special friends, Tim Cooper of Louisiana and Matthew Seawell of N.C.; and many friends who she considered her family. Rene was preceded in death by her father, Charles "C.S." Hendrickson; her biological father, Lindy Twyman; one sister, Vicky Twyman; and her grandmother, Ocie Moss.
